One thing that brides spend the most on is their wedding outfits, something that is close to their hearts and can be passed on from generation to generation holding sentimental value. Gladly, we have a number of different local designers who design such dreamy outfits for our beautiful Pakistani brides. Here are the top designers who reigned the bridal industry this year:
Dr Haroon:
Someone who was a painter and doctor by profession before entering the designer industry has come so far that brides have to order their bridal dresses 7-8 months prior to their weddings. His beautiful signature long, deep maroon shirts are what the brides look forward to glow in on their big days. Fun fact, Dr Haroon doesn’t show you any options for your ensemble, instead just asks you the color and style you want and just looks at the bride to see what would look good on her. You see the outfit only when it’s ready after a couple of months and the fascinating part is that he never disappoints! We have never seen a Dr Haroon bride who wasn’t just breathtaking.
Farah Talib Aziz:
Perfect for Mehendi outfits filled with color and vibe, Farah Talib Aziz has climbed the ranks and is among the top few designers in recent years. With her newly constructed one stop for all studio in phase 8, she has made sure that she takes over the bridal industry! Her recent campaign which showcases different wedding occasions only goes to prove that her label has something to suit everyone and for every event, be it the bride, her family or even the bridesmaids, everyone will have a stunning outfit for every event!
Sania Maskatiya:
Their aesthetic and extravagant store which displays their formal, semi-formal and bridal collection is a vibe to see! While everyone is drooling over her floral designs and modern cuts this season, her bridal collection is more like an eye candy. With her perfect team of craftsmen, she takes orders up to 6 months prior to the event but the outfits are full of details. In her new collection it is not just the palettes, but also the cuts, designs, the eclectic combination of styles, embellishments and fine intricate use of embroidery work the speak volumes. Her ability to mix and match traditional and modern is something that is unique in the industry.
Bunto Kazmi:
Even though Bunto takes her orders a year to a year and a half prior to the events, she makes sure that your decision to order with her is worth it. Her gorgeous amalgamations on her dresses is what makes her name worthy of its fame. Kazmi is known for her attention to detail and her intricate designs- something which was very new to Pakistani designer industry at the time she started designing which was years ago, yet she has managed to maintain the quality and the classic traditional feel in her designs. Her tendency to play around with different colors and design clothes on different patterns and themes and to make them all look equally beautiful is astonishing. Maybe this is what makes her the Queen of Pakistani bridal industry.
Tena Durrani:
Been in the industry since years, Tena Durrani’s team knows exactly what the brides are looking for. Her bridal collections are one of a kind, with more of a modern touch. Her gold embellishments on pastel outfits are so aesthetic that they make not only the brides want to order, but also their families! She is a bridal expert who knows how to make the brides feel confident in their dresses. Be it long shirts with farshi shararas or short shirts with tulip pants, Tena Durrani is a perfectionist in all.
Shehla Chatoor:
The exquisite designs that Shehla introduces every season are worth swooning over. While she takes only limited bridal orders, the ones who are lucky enough to be Shehla Chatoor brides have never regretted their decision. Her signature marori and zardori detailed outfits, paired along pastel palettes are what make her one of the most unique designers in the industry. Her bridal collections are truly majestic!
