As a part of Team DAWAT Event Management , Your role will be to enhance and manage DAWAT’s services. Keeping in mind our roles and you will be expected to be the driving force of the company’s values and ethics.

Team DAWAT is seeking a General Manager who will be able to take up various job duties and will be able to lead our staff members based on a hybrid model of Agile and Traditional Methodologies.
All departments will come under the supervision of the GM position.
The GM is required to report directly to the CEO daily on goals and reports, including sales goals, account invoices and forecasts.
The GM should be ready to work weekends and should be used to long hours managing and supervising events.
Min Req. BA from an accredited university , Masters preferred.

Lead, plan and bring our clients vision to life by implementing creative event designs on the floor.
Find constant innovative ways to market our brand and enhance genuine focused leads to increase sales.
Lead the sales process in the company and regularly hold training sessions to improve staff goals.
Lead the vendor management side of the business by maintaining relationships and helping find solutions for problems that can create a communication barrier.
Follow SOP for the company and hold the employees responsible for following it as well.
Encourage a creative and innovative atmosphere for team members to suggest ways to improve on our processes.
Daily have a report and balance check in accounts for a smoother process.
Build relationships with new clients and regularly stay in touch with our previous clients.
Make sure all company taxes are up to date and all legal government policies are followed.
Focus on hitting sales targets with a focus on building value as well.
Build and maintain relationships with our competitors and related event businesses such as hotels and photographers.
Regularly attend events for on floor company presence.
Hold job fairs and fairly share job applications to the CEO for approval.
Create and maintain communications in a harmonious and professional manner with all levels of staff and clients.
Treat all staff members with equality and fairness.
Track budgets with vendors, agencies, clients and report to the CEO.
Collaborate with all the teams and integrate them together towards the company’s goals and vision.
Develop an annual budget and marketing strategy. Book hotel blocks through show organizers, and/or work with our corporate travel coordinator to lock in hotel blocks for upcoming shows
Identify roles that need to be filled within your team and assist the Employee Services department with hiring. (for example, trade show booth designer, production team, etc. Take calls with various companies, and corporations interested in working with our company.Experience of working within a demanding fast-paced environment upholding a very high standard.
Advise clients on the solution that best fits their needs within their budget.

Must have BA from a regionally accredited University/College.
At least 2 years of experience in working for a newspaper or running your own blog. Must be Social Media savvy.
